Venice, Vanoli after the victory over Parma: “We don’t need to look at the ratings”

After the success in the match with Parma, the Venezia coach Paolo Vanoli spoke at a press conference. Here are some of his words taken from Tuttovenesiasport: “I congratulate these guys, I think in the end it’s the details that matter in these matches. Unlike the match against Palermo we managed to stay in the game, an important win in front of a crowd that carried us along, these guys want to try their best every time, we no longer have to look at the standings but stay in the games.”

Where did you win this?

“We did well in those ninety minutes, we were good, we knew we had a strong team, we started with a slightly narrowed defensive line, afraid of deep throws, but then we learned not to be afraid, this is an important step. It was a balanced match, there were many matches in the match, after the score was 1:1 we reacted clearly and then looked for a new advantage. But it’s just one match, the Serie B championship is long, we still had to struggle in some situations and we can still do some things better.”

Parma?

“In my opinion, Parma is strong with great potential, as evidenced by the ranking. A stop maybe, Palermo have shown their intentions in the transfer market and I believe Spezia also have an adequate squad. And in the championship there are always surprises, last year Bari was one second away from Serie A. Now we need to enjoy the victory, but then immediately think about what can be improved.”
