Forward Romelu Lukaku commented back to “Inter” which he quit a year ago and moved to Chelsea.
“I hope to be even better than last time. It’s like I’m back home.
What attracted you to the opportunity to return to Inter? Fans, teammates and the opportunity to work with our coach. I wanted to come back, and the teammates pushed me to make this transfer. They are like family to me, like brothers. I will try to please fans and partners every day,” Lukaku said.
The Milan club has rented the Belgian striker for a year. Lukaku’s current contract with Chelsea runs until summer 2026. The footballer previously played for Inter from 2019 to 2021, becoming the Italian champions in the 2020/21 season.
