Guillermo Abascal: “If I see the injustice of the judges, I will not be silent”

Moscow Coach “Spartacus” Guillermo Abascal said that he will not remain silent in case of unfair decisions of the referees in relation to the team, however, the specialist believes in the honest work of the referees.

Abascal was appointed head coach of the Rouge-Blancs in June, replacing Paolo Vanoli.

– Cattani said Spartak coach should suffer. Are you ready to suffer for Spartak?

What is the meaning of the word “suffering”?

– In terms of taking responsibility

“Of course, if we have to suffer, we will suffer. But I hope such moments will be as few as possible. This suffering may be caused by unnecessary injustice, rather than pressure or responsibility.

– Spartak often suffered from refereeing decisions last season. Have you seen them? And what do you think of the work of the judges: do you comment publicly or leave an opinion in the locker room?

Everyone can make mistakes in football. Previously, I had experience in a country where foreign referees were invited to important matches to make them fair. I believe in people’s honesty. If I see an injustice, I don’t shut up, I speak up. But I believe that everyone will do their job honestly. We are judged on the points scored, judges on their decisions. I think the reviews also keep them up at night,” Abascal told a news conference.
