The UEFA Executive Committee, at a meeting on October 20, actually removed from consideration the issue of the return of Russian U-17 teams to international competitions. It was reported to the UAF.
They also recalled that they opposed such a decision as soon as it became known, and also thanked all the countries that responded to the request of the Ukrainian Football Association and announced a boycott of competitions with the participation of Russian teams.

I had the opportunity to personally convey our position to colleagues from other countries during a recent meeting of the UEFA Hat-Trick Committee, which took place on October 4. It is important that the terrorist nation bears full responsibility for their crimes, including in the world of football. There must be no compromise on this issue,” the press service of the organization quoted the first vice-president of UAF Vadim Kostyuchenko.
