“We have had three days of very intense training with many tactical exercises. Tomorrow the intensity will decrease, then it will intensify again. It is a weekly cycle, exactly planned. I think the team is fully prepared for in the fight against North Macedonia So to speak, everything is in battle readiness.
The national team is always very competitive. Almost everyone is ready to play, except maybe Denis Popov, who is currently working on an individual program.
North Macedonia is the same team, with the same tactics as in the last match. We analyze his matches against us and Italy, see the features and prepare. This is a qualifying match for the European Championship, so every game is very important here. You have to go out and give it your all. We have a tournament that has to take six points in two matches, but it does not put pressure, but rather increases energy and motivation. We have no room for error.
I also have my own motivation. I have been invited to several training camps, but so far I have not been on the field. I’m waiting for my chance, I want to take full advantage of it if it’s given to me. I think I’m ready to surprise everyone in a good way,” UAF’s official website quoted Pikhalenok as saying.
