In the duel between leader and lantern, the cruise played well, dominated and won the new village 2-0 on the night of this Friday, 1st, for the 16th round of Série B of the Brazilian Championship. Wagner Leonardo and Luvannorone in each half, scored the goals and ensured the victory of Raposa in Mineirão.
With the result, the celestial team reached 37 points in the lead and opened seven of advantage for the vice-leader Vasco. Cruzmaltino still plays against sport following the round, but a team led by Paulo Pezzolano there’s one less game. Already Tigre parked at 12 points, remaining in the bottom of the table.

Vila returned to scare at 20, in a header by Pablo defended by Rafael Cabral, but the bid was annulled for offside.
On the Raposa side, Luvannor also accumulated two wasted chances: one over the goal and another defended by goalkeeper Tony. The Minas Gerais team dominated the first stage and presented greater volume of play. Without effectiveness, Vila gave little work to goalkeeper Rafael Cabral.

After taking danger in the final minutes of the first half, Luvannor needed just 19 seconds of the second half to extend to Raposa. After Rafael Donato’s pass error, the striker had two attempts at kicking to overcome Tony and send it to the nets: 2 to 0 and a good performance by Cruzeiro. The play had Edu’s participation. At ten minutes, Vila had the chance to score, but Donato, free, headed wide.
