The Ukrainian goalkeeper is delighted with his new teammate
Goalkeeper Ukrainian national team and Madrid Real Madrid Andrey Lunin shared his opinion about his teammate, the English newcomer Blancos Jude Bellingham.
“Jude Bellingham is an alien. To come to the best club in the world at 20 years old, score in every game, give assists, influence the game and the result… It’s all out of this world.”
“At training? Jude doesn’t score on me, I take his shots. It seems that the only place he doesn’t score is in training; goalkeepers are not able to cope with him during official games” (laughs).
20-year-old Jude Bellingham moved to Real Madrid this summer from Borussia Dortmund for 109 million euros. In ten matches for the Madrid club, he managed to score 10 goals and give three assists. The Englishman was recognized as the best player in La Liga in August, and was also included in the list of finalists for the prestigious Golden Boy Award 2023.
24-year-old Lunin played two matches for Los Blancos this season, one of them to zero. He recently left the Ukrainian national team due to back problems.
Carlo Ancelotti’s team is in first place in the La Liga standings, two points ahead of Girona and three ahead of Barcelona. In the Champions League, Real Madrid won both opening matches. Los Blancos will play their next match on October 21 away against Sevilla.
