Ukrainian judging panel led by Denis Shurman received an assignment for the qualifying match European Youth Championship 2025 between teams Andorra And Faroe Islands.
The fight will take place on October 17 in Andorra la Vella. Schurman will be assisted by his compatriots Valentin Kutsev And Victor Matyash. The fourth referee will be Dmitry Panchishin.
Denis Shurman will turn 37 years old in November, he represents the Kyiv region and is one of 11 active Ukrainian FIFA referees. He has been refereeing UPL matches for the seventh season.
At the international level, Schurman worked, in particular, on qualifying matches for the Champions League, Europa League and Conference League (7 matches in total). He trained for some time in Germany (Regionalliga Nord, Oberliga Hamburg).
Schurman’s track record also includes five matches in two qualifying tournaments for the U-21 European Championships (2019 – 2022). In them, he showed 19 yellow and three red cards, and awarded three penalties.
In Euro U-21 qualifying Group G, Andorra has 3 points from five matches and is in sixth and last place. The Faroe Islands scored 4 points in three matches. The sextet is led by the Portuguese team.
