Athletistic/Football. The head coach of the Russian national team and Rostov Valery Karpin responded to criticism from Alexander Mostovoy regarding the combination of positions.
“Everything he says is funny. Is there nothing like this anywhere else in the world? Where else in the world has the national team been suspended from tournaments? When the national team has not wasn’t suspended, what did I do? I left Rostov.”
If the team comes back, I will go again. We have an agreement,” Karpin quotes RB Sport.
Recall that earlier the Russian national team beat Cameroon with a score of 1:0 in a friendly match. The meeting took place in Moscow. The only goal was scored by Fedor Chalov.
Currently, Russian clubs and national teams are suspended from international tournaments under the auspices of FIFA and UEFA.
