Athletistic / Football. Zenit is showing active interest in Red Star Belgrade striker Jovan Mijatovic.
According to the Serbian publication Sportske Vesti, so far there has been no official contact between the Serbian and Russian clubs, so it is unclear how much Zenit is ready to offer Red Star for the striker 18 years old. This season, Mijatovic has played four matches in the Serbian championship and scored one goal. He also scored twice in UEFA Youth League matches, against Manchester City U19 and Young Boys U19. The Transfermarkt portal estimates the market value of Jovan Mijatovic at 1.8 million euros.
Note that in the summer of 2023, Zenit bought defender Strahinja Erakovic from Red Star. It should be noted that the two clubs have the same general sponsor: the energy company Gazprom.
