Napoli forward was injured during Nigeria’s test match with Saudi Arabia
Attack Napoli Victor Osimhen will miss four to six weeks with a biceps femoris injury.
The forward was injured in the Nigeria national team’s test match with Saudi Arabia. The examination that Victor underwent upon returning to Italy revealed a moderate injury to the biceps muscle of the right thigh. The exact timing of the forward’s recovery will be adjusted after monitoring the muscle in the coming days.
Osimhen will miss the important match with Milan in Serie A, as well as the fights with Union in the Champions League. The forward can expect to return after the international break in November.
The 24-year-old striker has made 10 appearances for Napoli this season across all competitions. Osimhen has six goals and one assist.
Napoli are in fifth place in Serie A with 14 points. The reigning Italian champions will next play away to Verona on October 21.
