The defender prepares for victory in the match against Malta
Defender Ukrainian national team Alexander Karavaev is preparing to win the match with Malta in qualification European Championship 2024.
“Expectations are only positive. We understand what kind of result we need and are only focused on winning. We are recovering as usual, we have a very strong medical staff, and all the players are professionals and know how to recover.”
“It’s always difficult to play two days later on the third. Both mentally and physically. But we are professionals, we must draw conclusions from the previous match so that there are no past mistakes. We must play at our maximum strength from the first to the last second and then everything will be fine.”
The Malta-Ukraine match will take place on October 17. The meeting starts at 21:45. The fight will be judged by the Danish team led by referee Morten Krogh.
The Ukrainian national team takes third place in Group C of qualification for Euro 2024. Rebrov’s team has 10 points. Italy has the same number, having played one match less. England leads Group C with 13 points.
