Supporters of the Swedish national team left the stadium in Brussels, accompanied by the police, who escorted them to their hotels, reports RTL info.
The qualifying match for the 2024 European Championship between Belgium and Sweden took place on Monday in Brussels. In the evening, it became known that two people had been killed following a shooting in the Belgian capital about an hour and a half before the start of the match. Police confirmed that two of those shot were Swedish citizens and that the terrorist threat level in the country has been raised to the highest level.
According to reports, around seven hundred supporters of the Swedish national team left the Brussels stadium under police guard and were escorted to their hotels.
