Another Brazilian will not play for Shakhtar next season
Defender Miner Vitao will continue to advocate international. The parties have agreed to extend rent 22-year-old Brazilian until June 30, 2023.
In April, Vitao joined Internacional on a three-month loan. The quarterback played 14 games for the Colorados and scored one goal.
In 2019, the Miners paid four million euros for Vitao’s transfer from Palmeiras. The Brazilian has made 36 appearances for Shakhtar’s first team in all competitions.
Today Shakhtar released winger Pedrinho on loan to Atlético Mineiro and Tete to Lyon. Shakhtar midfielder Marcos Antonio will continue his career at Lazio.

Internacional ranks fourth in the Brazilian championship. For the Colorados are two former Shakhtar midfielders Tyson and Alan Patrick, as well as former Dynamo player Carlos de Pena.
