The legendary former Manchester United footballer believes Israel must end its apartheid regime.

Eric Cantona has come to the defense of the Palestinians in their war with Israel. According to the former legendary football player, a real apartheid regime is being implemented against the residents of the Gaza Strip.

Therefore, the French called for giving more rights and freedoms to the Palestinians, and also to stop calling people who support the Palestinians supporters of Hamas.

“Defending the rights of the Palestinians does not mean being committed to Hamas. If someone says: “Free Palestine,” it does not mean that this person is anti-Semitic or that he wants to exterminate all Jews.

“Free Palestine” refers to a demand to free Palestinians from Israeli occupation where they have been denied basic human rights for 75 years.

“Free Palestine” stands for demanding an end to the imprisonment of 2.3 million Palestinians in the world’s largest open-air prisons, half of them children.

“Free Palestine” refers to a demand to end apartheid by the Israeli government.

“Free Palestine” means asking Palestinians to take control of infrastructure that is vital to their land,” Cantona wrote on Instagram. He closed comments on the post.

Let’s remember that earlier the European Parliament accused Karim Benzema of supporting Hamas because of his support for the Palestinians.
