A press release was issued this afternoon regarding the agreement between Nicolo Fagioli and the Federal Prosecutor’s Office in a betting case involving the Juventus midfielder, who was arrested for 12 months, 5 of which were transferred to alternative assignments. Here is the text: “The Federal Prosecutor’s Office has reached an agreement (in accordance with Article 126 CGS) with the football player Nicolo Fagioli, after which he will be subject to a 12-month suspension, 5 of which will be replaced by alternative orders.” and a fine of €12,500 for violation of Article 24 CGS, which prohibits the possibility of betting on football events organized by FIFA, UEFA and FIFA.”
