Carpathians The club’s official website announced the extension of the contract with the goalkeeper Andrey Kozhukharem. The new agreement runs until June 30, 2026.
Kozhukhar joined the Carpathians in the summer of 2023. His previous contract expired in June 2024.
Earlier, Oleg Avdysh, Kozhuhar’s agent, said that the 24-year-old goalkeeper had received an offer from Moldova to change his football citizenship. In addition, a number of Ukrainian and European clubs are interested in signing Andrey.
This season, Kozhukhar played in 12 matches for Karpaty in the First League, conceding seven goals. The goalkeeper kept a clean sheet in 7 matches.
Karpaty are leading Group A of the First League, gaining 30 points after 12 rounds. Miron Markevich’s team will play the next match against Niva Buzovaya on October 21.
