Palmeiras: Scarpa is free to sign a pre-contract with a new team

Gustavo Scarpa is at the end of his relationship with Palmeiras and can already sign a pre-contract with any team that is interested in him; check out!

Gustavo Scarpa may end up leaving the palm trees for free! That’s because as of this Friday, 01, the player entered the final stretch of his contract with Verdão, which expires at the end of the year, and he can now sign a pre-contract with any team that is interested. Thus, the athlete will leave the club at the end of the year without alviverde receiving anything for the deal.

European clubs have already shown interest in acquiring the player, such as Olympiacos, from Greece, but Palmeiras did not want to negotiate him and preferred to keep him in the squad, even knowing that he could lose the athlete for free at the end of the year. Despite this, the decision seemed right, since Scarpa has been an important part of the Palestinian cast.

CHANNEL – ATHLETISTIC:

A starter in the last 14 matches played by Verdão, Scarpa scored six goals and provided six other assists in the last games, becoming a fundamental part of the team of Abel Ferreira. If you take into account the whole season, the midfielder has played 34 games, 29 of which as a starter, scoring eight times and providing another 12 assists.

Scarpa has already expressed his desire to play in European football, but does not rule out a stay at Palmeiras. An initial negotiation has already taken place between the parties and the player maintains a good relationship with the club. Still without any agreement, the athlete’s future must be defined at the end of the current competitions.

CEARÁ MAKES CHARGES TO PALMEIRAS

Ceará and palm trees are living an imbroglio and Arthur Cabral is involved in it. The alvinegra team filed a lawsuit in the National Chamber for Dispute Resolution, of the CBF, and protested against a value that Verdão allegedly received in the transfer of the attacker to the Fiorentina. The transaction for the Italian club was around R$92 million and Palestra would be entitled to 30% of the added value in the deal between Viola and Basel.

In this way, Ceará understands that it is entitled to half of this percentage, that is, to 15% of the surplus value. The amount would reach 2.2 million euros and the value is considered important for Vôzão. In turn, Palmeiras claims that it negotiated this 30% directly with Basel, in 2021, a year before Arthur Cabral’s transfer to Fiorentina. In the deal with the Italians, Verdão claims that it did not receive anything.
