Yezersky’s team leads Group 3, ahead of Germany in additional indicators
Ukraine U-17 national team played the second match of the youth qualifying mini-tournament European Championship 2024. Vladimir Yezersky’s wards defeated their peers from Liechtenstein – 7:0.
Bayer forward Artem Stepanov scored a hat-trick for the blue-and-yellows. Another goal was scored by Dmitry Bogdanov, Alexander Dragan, Evgeniy Garmash and Artur Wuhan.
In the first match, Yezersky’s team tied with Finland (2:2). With four points, Ukraine leads Group 3, ahead of Germany in additional indicators.
Ukraine will play the final match of the mini-tournament with Germany on October 21. Starts at 13:00.
The teams that took the first two places and the five teams that took third place in the 13 groups will advance to the elite round of qualifying, where they will join the Netherlands. The fights at this stage will take place in March 2024. The 15 best teams will advance to the final part of the tournament, which will take place from May 20 to June 5 in Cyprus.
