The Miners are preparing for matches with LNZ and Barcelona
Acting head coach Shakhtar Darijo Srna spent first training session at the head of the team. The Croatian is preparing the Gornyaki for the upcoming matches against LNZ and Barcelona.
The training session lasted almost an hour and a half. The players did exercises to hold the ball and also practiced actions in the final phase of the attack.
Srna was appointed acting head coach after the dismissal of Patrick van Leeuwen. According to TaToTake, the Croatian’s headquarters included Carlo Nicolini (physical training specialist), Andrey Pyatov (goalkeeper coach) and Radion Paltsun (analyst).
Shakhtar takes third place in the UPL, having played one match less for Krivbass and Polesie. On October 21, the team will play against LNZ in the Ukrainian Championship.
The Pitmen also occupy third place in the Champions League group, and in the next match of the European Cup tournament they will play against Barcelona on October 25.
