Let us remind you that the match was interrupted during the break with the score 1:1. In Brussels, an unknown man shot and killed two fans of the Swedish national team. The maximum, fourth level of terrorist threat was temporarily declared in the city, and spectators were asked for some time not to leave the stands of the stadium.

The suspect was subsequently identified as 45-year-old Abdesalem L., a man of Tunisian origin. During the police operation, the alleged terrorist received a gunshot wound to the chest and died some time later in intensive care. During the search, the weapon that was used during yesterday’s attack was found.

Belgium leads Group F with 17 points. In the final qualifying match, the Red Devils will host Azerbaijan on November 19. Sweden is in third place with seven points. The Scandinavian team will have meetings with Azerbaijan (November 16) and Estonia (November 19).
