The Brazilian will continue his career in Rome
Lazio on his official website announced the signing of the Donetsk midfielder Miner Marcos Antonio. The details of the deal were not disclosed.
Earlier it was reported that Marcos’ contract with the Roman club will be for five years. In Lazio, the Brazilian will earn 900 thousand euros per season plus bonuses. The Romans will pay the Pitmen 10 million euros for the transfer of Antonio: eight million will be paid in a fixed payment, another two million will be bonus payments in case of a successful performance by the player.

Marcos Antonio has been playing for Shakhtar since February 2019. As part of the Pitmen, he played 102 matches, scored nine goals and gave five assists. Together with the Donetsk club, the Brazilian twice became the champion of Ukraine.
Lazio finished the season in fifth place in Serie A and qualified for the Europa League. Shakhtar took the first position in the UPL and will play in the group stage of the Champions League.
