The building was built from scratch
A week later, on October 28, the WBC world heavyweight champion Tyson Fury will fight against former UFC champion Francis Ngannou. The battle Fury vs Ngannou will be held in the capital of Saudi Arabia, Riyadh, and a large-scale boxing evening will mark the official opening of the fourth season of holidays and festivals in the Kingdom. Another major event of the season should be a unification fight in the heavyweight division between the same Fury and the holder of the WBA/WBO/IBF titles Alexander Usik.
The festival season is an event of national importance for Saudi Arabia and an important part of the strategy for promoting the country. The financial capabilities of the Kingdom allow the organizers to work real miracles.
Thus, the arena for the Fury-Ngannou and Usyk-Fury fights was built from scratch. And it turned out to be truly world-class: with VIP boxes, cool stands, technical rooms, a room for athletes and medical staff. A video of the construction of the arena was shared by the Chairman of the General Directorate of Entertainment of Saudi Arabia, Turki Al al-Sheikh, who oversees the organization and holding of both two large-scale fighting events and the entire festival.

“The season kicks off for the fourth time in Riyadh to ensure everyone has the opportunity to enjoy world-class events. Following the opening ceremony, the 2023 season will open in Riyadh with an exciting boxing match between Fury and Ngannou, and this event will set a new standard for such an event,” the official said.
It is interesting that Usik can get acquainted with the arena of the future fight with Fury on October 28. According to media reports, the Ukrainian is planned to attend the fight between the Gypsy King and Ngannou.
In principle, this option fits perfectly into the strategy for promoting the Usyk-Fury fight, and for the second time the Ukrainian and the Briton will have the opportunity to communicate directly in the ring. Plus, don’t forget about the scale of the broadcast of the Fury-Ngannou boxing evening: it is planned that the event will be shown in about 200 countries around the world. This is exactly the figure quoted by the streaming service DAZN, which will become the official broadcaster of the fight, except for the UK, Ireland, USA and Canada. By the way, in the UK the broadcast of the Fury-Ngannou fight will cost 22 pounds.
