Metalist 1925 players could not stop the UPL leader
Trainer Metalist 1925 Oleg Golodyuk commented on the team’s defeat from Krivbassa (1:3) in the 11th round Ukrainian Championship.
“It’s difficult to comment on anything here, the defeat is painful for us. We played against the leaders of the championship at the moment and they showed why they are there now.”
“We missed two identical goals. They started with a simple mistake in the center of the field and then the guys couldn’t keep up with the Krivbass players. We analyzed their game and warned that after an interception, they play forward with the first or second pass. We must admit that now they are much better prepared. All criticism that will be addressed to us is objective.”
“We just talked with the team. I can’t say that they didn’t want to or didn’t play. But in such games, with such opponents, you need to “gnaw out” more.
Metalist 1925 takes 11th place in the UPL. The team of Edmar and Golodyuk will play their next match on October 29 against Vorskla.
