Blancos avoid defeat thanks to Carvajal’s goal
Madrid Real drew on the road with Seville in the 10th round match Spanish Championship – 1:1.
In the first minutes, Carlo Ancelotti’s team scored twice (Fede Valverde and Jude Bellingham), but the referees canceled the goal. In the middle of the first half, Sevilla was close to scoring, but Dani Carvajal and Kepa Arrizabalaga saved the Blancos.
In the 74th minute, the Nervians took the lead after an own goal by David Alaba and an uncertain performance by the goalkeeper. Real quickly came back with a free kick from Carvajal.
Note that Sevilla defender Sergio Ramos received a yellow card in a match against his former club. Real Madrid’s Ukrainian goalkeeper Andrey Lunin spent the entire match on the bench.
Real are leading the Spanish league, three points ahead of Girona. The team of Viktor Tsygankov and Artem Dovbik will play against Almeria on Sunday. Seville rose to 13th position.
