Minaj remains without victories in the championship, despite all the efforts of the coach
Head coach Minaya Vladimir Sharan commented on the disappointing result in the match against Chernomorets in the 11th round UPL.
“A well-deserved victory for Chernomorets. But, despite this score, before the break, it could be said that the game was almost equal. We hoped to play more aggressively in the second half, but we conceded two goals on counterattacks.”
“Last year we won a very important match in Odessa. The guys then fought for each other and tried to maintain the resulting score. We didn’t see that today. In the locker room I saw that the guys were in such a mood as if they had lost this match even before the starting whistle. Now the players are silent, they cannot speak after such a result. I didn’t see the team that played against Rukh. We can achieve results through our fighting qualities, but we haven’t been able to do that this season.”
“We also lost Buleza. I don’t know how long he’ll miss, but Andrey can’t stand on his feet. I don’t want to talk more about the referees, but, in my opinion, after the ball game, the Chernomorets footballer played in the foot.”
Let us remind you that Minaj lost to Chernomorets with a big score (0:3) in Odessa. At the end of the first half, with the score 1:0, the defender of the Transcarpathian team Andriy Buleza was replaced due to injury. Before this, Sharan was given a yellow card for his emotions.
Minaj goes without victories in the current Ukrainian Championship and closes the standings with 4 points. On October 29, Sharan’s team will host Veres.
