Athletistic/Football. Chairman of the Board of Directors of Zenit, Alexander Medvedev, reacted to the possible appearance of Belarusian clubs in Russian sports leagues.
“It is worth discussing after the response from the Belarusian side. But the emergence of one or two Belarusian clubs with good infrastructure, history and fan base would benefit both us and them” , said Medvedev, quoted by Sport24.
Previously, the Minister of Sports of the Russian Federation, Oleg Matytsin, shared his opinion on the possible inclusion of Belarusian clubs in the composition of participants in Russian professional leagues.
