The Ukrainian’s fight for the IBF Inter-Continental title will take place on October 28 in Munich
Former world welterweight champion Vyacheslav Senchenkotrainer of Ukrainian boxer Karen Chukhadzhyan (22-2, 12 KOs), spoke about his client’s preparation for the fight against the EBU European champion Pietro Rossetti (18-1, 8 KOs).
“Pietro is Italian, European champion, and he has a title. He is highly ranked. In my opinion, Rosetti is a strong and attacking boxer. If we say that he is famous, then no. But it’s very tough, like a tough nut to crack, so we prepare well.”
“Karen approaches this professionally. It’s great that he never relaxes. That is, be it Jaron Ennis or some unknown boxer like Rosetti, for example. Karen is still approaching this fight. He is psychologically tuned, concentrated and believes in his victory. This is the main thing.”
The fight between Chukhadzhyan and Rossetti will take place on October 28 in Munich. The boxers will fight for the IBF Inter-Continental welterweight belt.
In his last fight, Karen defeated Venezuelan Michael Marcano in April. Chukhadzhyan scored a knockout over his opponent in the second round.
Rossetti, 25, defeated Frenchman Janis Mea by unanimous decision in his last fight. The fight took place in Ostia, Italy, on July 1.
