Former Russian national footballer Igor Shalimov praised Magomed Ozdoev for his spectacular goal play in the Greek championship match.
PAOK’s Russian midfielder Magomed Ozdoev scored a brace in the 8th round match of the Greek Football Championship against Atromitos. Thessaloniki club won at home with a score of 2:0. Ozdoev scored in the 43rd and 51st minutes of the match; the Russian scored one of his goals by falling over himself. The 30-year-old scored for the first time since joining the Greek club.
– Wow Ozdoev! Good game. He didn’t score many goals with us, he played more of a defensive midfielder role. And in Greece, he connects and scores thanks to himself. Well, well done. It’s a question of coordination,” Shalimov said on the air of the show “Everyone for the match!” on the channel.
PAOK (17 points) is third in the league standings, Atromitos (3) is 13th.
