Shalimov believes Spartak must learn to win with a big score

Former Russian national footballer Igor Shalimov believes that Spartak must learn to win with a big score in the Russian football championship.

Moscow “Spartak” defeated Nizhny Novgorod “PARI NN” in the match of the 12th round of the Russian First WORLD League (RPL). The match in Moscow ended with a score of 2:0. The goals were scored by Danil Prutsev (41st minute) and Christopher Martins (90+7).

– Once again, an uncertain victory. The second goal was scored at the very end, the score remained 1:0 throughout the match. A good first half, there were plenty of chances. I liked the way Spartak played. The three Russians in the middle (Ignatov, Prutsev and Litvinov) play in a combined manner. I liked the first half, it was combination football. Martins was lucky to beat the defender and Spartak scored the second goal. Spartak has quality players. The only thing that can be confusing is that there are no wins with a score of 3:0 or 4:0. We need to score three goals and win comfortably. My general impression of the Spartak match is good,” Shalimov said on the air of the program “Everyone for the match!” on the channel.
