Ronaldo: I’ll play next season and then we’ll see if I can continue my career

The Portuguese is happy on the football field

Forward Al Nasr Cristiano Ronaldo once again spoke about a possible retirement from football.

“I will continue to play this season and next. Then I will look at my body to see if I can continue playing or not.”

“The fans make me happy and I make them happy. I am 38 years old and I continue to help and benefit the team. I should be grateful for that. Hard work brought me to the top.”

On September 3, Cristiano Ronaldo scored his 850th career goal. He became the first player in the history of football to achieve such a result at the official level.

38-year-old Cristiano has been playing for Al-Nasr (Riyadh) since January 2023, after a scandalous separation from Manchester United. In August, Ronaldo won his first trophy in Saudi Arabia, scoring a brace in the Arab Champions Cup final.

This season, Cristiano was twice recognized as the best player of the month in the Saudi Pro League. The Portuguese has 12 goals and six assists in 12 matches for Al-Nassr in all competitions.

In the current championship, the team led by Shakhtar ex-coach Luis Castro is in third place after ten rounds. In the AFC Champions League, Al-Nassr is leading Group E after two matches.
