Milan achieved profit at the end of the financial year for the first time in the last 17 years. The club announced commercial results season 2022/23which ended on June 30.
For the first time since 2006, the Rossoneri made a profit, income for the season amounted to 6.1 million euros (72.6 million euros more than the results of the 2021/22 season). The club’s revenue set a record in its history and amounted to 404.5 million euros (106.9 million euros more than the previous year).
In particular, commercial and sponsorship revenues increased by €44.4 million. Reaching the 2022/23 Champions League semi-finals contributed to a €41.8 million increase in TV rights revenue and €40.3 million from matchdays and season tickets.
Milan are in second place in Serie A, one point behind leaders Inter. The Rossoneri’s next match will be away to PSG in the Champions League on October 25.
