After a few months, the goalkeeper Sergio Rico already has a date set to return to the Parc des Princes, home of PSG. Victim of a serious accident in May, the player will be present at the stadium to watch the confrontation between the French team and the Milanand will receive a tribute from his teammates at the opportunity.
The problem began after he suffered an accident with a horse, during a religious pilgrimage, which led to him being hospitalized in a serious condition, in Seville, Spain. Now, recovering from head and neck injuries, the athlete has not yet returned to professional activities.
At 30 years old, Rico was discharged almost three months later, and appeared to be well when he left the hospital walking when he had the opportunity. The athlete is currently in Seville, his hometown, where he is undergoing the final stage of recovery, but he intends to return to France as soon as possible to play for PSG again.
“I hope to have good news. I want to return to the team as soon as possible. My ultimate goal is to return this year and be with the team sooner, before the end of the season”, Sergio told “PSG TV”, during a visit by President Nasser Al-Khelaifi, in the month of September. It is worth remembering that the clash against Milan takes place at 4pm (Brasília time), in the Champions League.
