In each round of the First League, Sport Arena, together with the PFL, determines the best player. This time the hero is Kremlin winger Simon Galoyan
Kremnya midfielder Simon Galoyan scored a double in the victorious match against Gornyak-Sport – a derby that brought the first win under the leadership of the new head coach. It is not surprising that it was the midfielder of the team from Kremenchuk who became the hero of the 13th round of the First League.
— How important is it for you to be recognized as the best player of the tour in the Peri League?
– Of course, I am pleased to win this honorable nomination, but the team’s results come first. We have all been working towards this victory for a long time and have finally achieved our goal.
– Kremin, under the leadership of Klimovsky, had not yet won before this round. How much pressure did this put on the team psychologically?
– The coaching staff primarily focused on the team’s performance. We strive to play combination football. We understood that if we move at the same time, the result will come. It was not easy for us, but we believed that there would be victories.
– What changes can you note in Klimovsky’s training process when compared with Loktionov?
– Of course, Igor Klimovsky made certain changes to the training process. The team also made some tactical changes. The main thing is that the coaching staff professes modern football. There were no problems adapting to the requirements of the new coach. The whole team enjoys Klimovsky’s training process.
– What did the coaching staff focus on before the game with Gornyak-Sport? Were you ready to play from a position of strength?
— We analyzed all the strengths and weaknesses of the opponent. We understood that if we wanted to win, we had to play from a position of strength. We always try to combine and force our opponents to make mistakes. I’m pleased that we were able to take advantage of the guests’ mistakes and achieve the desired result.
— In the 15th minute, you were the first to react to a rebound from the penalty area and confidently beat the goalkeeper. Share your emotions from your debut goal this season?
– Of course, I was filled with positive emotions. It’s always nice to score and help the team. I understood that the whole struggle was still ahead and there was no point in relaxing.
— Did you feel that it was Kremen who was leading the game and that no matter what, you could achieve the desired result?
– They believed in their own strength. We understood that all our work should finally bring results. We went into the second half with the desire to score as much as possible. I am pleased that I have implemented all the coaching instructions. Let’s move on, because there are many important matches ahead.
– What changes did the coaching staff make during the break? Perhaps there were any comments about your game?
– It was important not to stop there, but on the contrary, to play even more actively in attack. We entered the second half as if the result was a draw. We had to score as much as possible and not make mistakes in defense. I think we played quite confidently.
– In the 74th minute you converted a one-on-one situation. You play more for the team, and in this match you scored two goals at once. Probably one of your best games recently?
– I’m really pleased with my game. I was finally able to realize my potential, although I understand that there is no limit to perfection. Happy that I was able to coolly implement a one-on-one situation and help the team win. I hope that I will play as many matches as possible.
– Remember your first steps in football. Who was your first coach and what did you learn from him?
“The first coaches taught me to play for the team and not be selfish on the field. Many worked on technique and tactics. I am grateful to Aliev Emil Khalilovitch and Nikolaev Igor Vasilievich.
— In DUFLU you played against Zabarny, Vanat, Brazhka, Ovcharenko and Sudakov. How were these guys different from others? Did they already understand that they had a crazy prospect?
– They had the opportunity to play in the best academies of Ukraine. These players quickly made decisions and could change the vector of the attack with one pass. I understood that these guys have potential, but we shouldn’t belittle their work. Without daily work, results cannot be achieved.
– Why do you think they couldn’t play for the Brewers?
“Unfortunately, the coaches of the first team did not see me in the first team. Perhaps I didn’t have enough experience. I decided that I had to move on to get important playing time. Only by playing can you progress. I don’t regret my career decisions.
— We scored our first goal in professional football on September 18, 2022, against Gornyak-Sport. Can you remember your emotions?
“I will remember this goal for the rest of my life.” I was overwhelmed with emotions, because it was very nice to finally distinguish myself at a professional level. I’ve been working towards this for a long time, and my work has finally brought its results.
