Al Hilal defeats Mumbai City in Asian Champions League

At home, Al-Hilal overcame Mumbai City and ended the round at the top of the Asian Champions Group; Neymar watched the game

O Al Hilal thrashed the Mumbai City 6-0 this Monday, 22nd, in the third round of the group stage of the Asian Champions League. Without Neymarinjured, the team had goals from Milinkovic-Savic, Al-Breik and Al-Malki and three of Mitrovic.

The Brazilian striker recorded one of Mitrovic’s goals on social media. Neymar suffered a ruptured knee ligament and will undergo surgery, leaving him sidelined for a few months. The injury occurred during Brazil’s defeat to Uruguay, in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers.

The scoring opened five minutes into the game in Riyadh, with a goal from Mitrovic. The slim advantage lasted until 22 minutes into the second half, with another goal from the Serb, who scored again 13 minutes later. Milinkovic-Savic, Al-Breik and Al-Malki closed the scoring.

With the result, the Saudi club leads Group D, with seven points. This is the same score as Navbahorvice leader. Nassaji Mazandaranwith three points, and Mumbai City, with zero, complete the group.
