Ukrainian referee Kopievsky will officiate the Conference League match Eintracht – HJK

The 33-year-old representative of Kropyvnytskyi will make his debut at the group stage of the European Cup

Ukrainian referee Nikolay Balakin assigned to the Group G match of the group tournament Conference Leagues 2023/24 between German Eintracht and Finnish HIC.

The meeting will take place in Frankfurt on October 26. The brigade will include Kopievsky’s compatriots – Semyon Shlonchak And Andrey Skripka (assistants on the lines), as well as Vitaly Romanov (fourth referee). The Italians Daniele Chiffi and Daniele Doveri will be in charge of the VAR system.

For the 33-year-old referee from Kropyvnytskyi, this match will be his debut in the main draw of European Cups. Previously, Kopievsky had only worked in qualifying matches for the Champions League, League of Legends and League of Legends. There were 6 such fights in his record, in which he presented 44 yellow cards (more than 7 per game) and three red cards.

Recently, Kopievsky already received an appointment to an official international match from UEFA. On October 14, Victor refereed the Euro 2024 qualifying match between San Marino and Denmark (1:2). The Ukrainian issued 6 warnings during the game.

Eintracht started in the Conference League group stage with a victory over Aberdeen (2:1), and then lost away to PAOK with the same score. HJK lost to the Greeks at home (2:3), but took a draw from Scotland (1:1).
