Top and failure of Arezzo-Spal

First victory in front of your own audienceArezzo which is superimposed on 3-1 on SPAL, in the match of the ninth day of Group B of Serie C. The scenario of the first half was clear from the very beginning: Amaranta are the home team, while the Biancazzurri bide their time and try to launch a counter-attack again, using the spaces provided. The home side’s first attacking attack of the match came dangerously in the eighth minute: Gucci anticipated Alfonso’s clumsy header, but Peda intervened decisively before the ball found the net. Arezzo pushes forward strongly and SPAL is under siege: first Arena manages to save an already scored goal by sacrificing himself to Eclus (then leaving the field on a stretcher due to a physical problem), and then Foglia brings down Alfonso with a strong outside shot in the twenty-second minute. Just half an hour later, Amaranta deservedly broke the deadlock: Pattarello’s cross from the right and a header Gucci which leaves Alfonso no choice. After a few minutes the count also doubles. Eklu, made a good header to beat the opposition goalkeeper at Guccione’s suggestion. During the break, Colucci tries to turn the match around with some changes, but Spal continues to struggle in the attacking phase. However, unlike the first half, the Biancazzurri at least won the match in the second half, even without creating many chances. The first Antenucci from two steps forces Trombini to make a super intervention for the first time, and on the hour mark here is the goal that allows the visitors to get back into the game momentarily: a cross from the back of Antenucci, Peda’s header on the crossbar and the winning rebound cornflower. Just as Spal seemed to have regained his confidence, Arezzo scored a hat-trick in the first half of the second half: a cross from the left from Coccia and a header Gucci who still defeats Alfonso. Amaranth’s third goal effectively ends the match and the final sees the hosts return to command with Coccia also fully recovered and hitting the post from outside the pitch. After two defeats in a row the team Paolo Indiani finds his way to victory again and reaches Virtus Entella in 11th place in the playoff zone.
