Ukrainian tennis player Lyudmila Kichenok completed performances in the doubles tournament WTA Elite Trophywhich takes place in Zhuhai, China.
Lyudmila, paired with Norwegian tennis player Ulrikke Eikeri, lost to the tandem of Miyu Kato / Aldila Sutjiadi (Japan / Indonesia) in the second match of the group stage.
The three-set match lasted one hour and 46 minutes. The fate of the meeting was decided at the super tiebreaker, where Kichenok and Akeri gave three of their serves – 6:10.
In the first match of the group stage, the Ukrainian-Norwegian duo lost to the Chinese tandem of Wang Xiyu/Xu Yifan. Only the group winner will advance to the finals.
