Athletistic/Football. RFU general secretary Maxim Mitrofanov commented on UEFA’s decision to allow Russian youth teams to participate in tournaments, a decision which was later reversed.
“I think the decision to admit Russian youth teams can be implemented. But I imagine the scale of the problems my colleagues are facing. Nevertheless, I think this decision can be implemented. UEFA intends to admit us starting next year,” Mitrofanov said. “RB Sports”.
UEFA announced the admission of Russian youth teams to international tournaments. On October 10, the admission decision was reversed.
