The hosts led 2:0 and 3:2, but failed to hold on to the victory
Eintracht And Borussia Dortmund in a productive match of the 9th round of the German Bundesliga no winner was revealed – 3:3.
The hosts took a two-goal lead midway through the first half thanks to a brace from Omar Marmush. Just before the break, the Bumblebees reduced the deficit through the efforts of Marcel Sabitzer.
At the beginning of the second half, the score was leveled – Yussuf Moukoko, who came on as a substitute, intelligently figured out the penalty area. However, Borussia soon collapsed defensively again and Fares Shaibi converted Elly Skiri’s penetrating pass into a goal.
However, Edin Terzic’s replacements played once again. Karim Adeyemi completed his flank pass with a cross, which was headed in from the goalkeeper’s area by Julian Brandt.
Eintracht are in 7th place in the Bundesliga with 14 points. Borussia is fourth, two points behind leaders Bayern.
Next week the teams will play two matches – first in the Cup, then in the championship. Eintracht will play away twice – with Victoria Cologne and Union. Borussia will host Hoffenheim first and then Bayern.
