Russian coach Oleg Kornaukhov on , he said that Argentine level footballers Diego Maradona are born once every 50 years.
On October 30, Maradona would have been 63 years old. He died on November 25, 2020 at the age of 60 from acute pulmonary edema, caused by chronic heart failure.
– God kissed him on the crown. Diego did things that were beautiful and seemed easy. He won titles and the world championship, that was not given to everyone. Every 50 years, people are born with such talent. He was such a footballer that it was a pleasure to watch him. When you look at footage of Maradona, it was fantastic, we admire such moments,” Kornaukhov said in the show “Everyone for the Match!” on the channel.
In 1986, Maradona and the Argentine national team became world champions. He is widely recognized as one of the best football players in the history of the sport.
