“I don’t know why Spartak only scored three points in five away matches. At the moment I can’t formulate an explanation for that,” Maksimenko is quoted in Championship.
Last Saturday, October 28, Spartak lost to local Fakel with a score of 0:2 in the away match of the 13th round of the RPL in Voronezh. After this failure, Guillermo Abascal’s team fell to seventh place in the Russian Championship standings. Over 13 rounds, the red and white scored only 20 points.
