Today, October 30, the award ceremony took place in Paris. Ballon d’Or 2023 at the Chatelet theater. The winner for a record eighth time was the striker of Inter Miami and the Argentina national team Lionel Messi.
The top 5 included three Manchester City players (Erling Haaland, Kevin De Bruyne, Rodri) and PSG striker Kylian Mbappe.
Mohamed Salah and Robert Lewandowski were one step away from the top 10. Last year’s Ballon d’Or winner Karim Benzema is in 16th position.
Let us remind you that five-time award winner Cristiano Ronaldo was not included in the list of 30 candidates for the 2023 Ballon d’Or.

The best men’s club of the year is Manchester City, the best women’s club is Barcelona. Real Madrid winger Vinicius Junior received the Socrates Award for charity.
