Ambrosiy is one of three players who started in all 14 matches of the Lviv club this season
Carpathians officially announced the conclusion of a new contract with their midfielder, team captain Ambrose Chachua. The new agreement runs until June 30, 2026.
29-year-old Chachua is a product of the old Carpathians. He played for Lviv from 2014 to 2018. Then in his career there were clubs from Kazakhstan and Georgia, Lutsk Volyn.
Two years ago, Ambrosy became a player in the new Carpathians (founded in 2020). He has been playing for the Green-Whites for the third season and wears the captain’s armband. In the 2023/24 season, he played all 14 matches for the leader of Group A of the First League (he was replaced in only one), scored 3 goals, gave 4 assists.
Karpaty are confidently leading in their subgroup of the First League. The Lviv club secured early access to the championship round on October 22. On October 29, the Lviv team defeated Metalist with a score of 3:0, one of the goals was scored by Chachua. On November 4, Karpaty will meet Epicenter on the road.
