The Ukrainian was in the top ten for 218 weeks
The first racket of Ukraine Elina Svitolina spends his 500th week in the world’s top 100 WTA ranking.
Elina entered the top 100 tennis players for the first time in February 2013. The Ukrainian was continuously in the top 100 for 479 weeks until September 2022. Of these, Svitolina spent 218 weeks in the top ten.
Elina lost ranking points when she took a break from competition due to the birth of her daughter. Svitolina returned to the top hundred in June 2023.
The Ukrainian ranks 25th in the current WTA rankings. In addition to Elina, the top 100 best tennis players in the world include four more Ukrainians – Angelina Kalinina, Lesya Tsurenko, Marta Kostyuk and Katerina Beindl.
