The UPL fifth round match will take place on November 1
Rescheduled match between Rukh And Dneprom-1 in the fifth round Ukrainian Premier League will be judged by a team of arbitrators led by Dmitry Krivushkin. The VAR team will be headed by Yuri Ivanov.
The meeting will take place on November 1 in Lviv. The match starts at the Lviv Arena at 18:00.
Let us remind you that the fight was supposed to take place in August. The UPL Directorate granted the request of SK Dnepr-1 to postpone the meeting to a later date.
At the end of August, the Dnipro team were preparing for a match against Spartak from Trnava as part of the Conference League playoffs. According to the new norm of the competition regulations, requests to postpone the game from a representative of the European Cups can be granted without the consent of the other party.
Rukh, represented by technical director Alexander Chaban, has already become indignant at this state of affairs. According to the functionary, at first Dnepr-1 unofficially approached the Lviv club with a request to move the 5th round match from Lviv to Uzhgorod. After the refusal, the Dnipro team decided to act through the Premier League.
Rukh ranks fifth in the UPL with 20 points. Dnepr-1 is in fourth place with 21 points.
