Real plans to include Lunin in Kepa buyout deal – media

Madrid are ready to pay £17.5 million for the Spanish goalkeeper

Madrid Real plans to include a Ukrainian goalkeeper Andrey Lunin in the deal to buy out the Spaniard Arrizabalaga caps.

Blancos are preparing for negotiations with Chelsea regarding the permanent contract of Kepa, who plays in Madrid on loan. Real don’t expect to pay more than £15.5 million. As an option to reduce the price, they are ready to include a Ukrainian goalkeeper in the deal.

It was previously reported that Lunin was on Celtic’s list of interests. It was also reported that the Blancos are ready to let the Ukrainian go in the summer, but intend to keep the Ukrainian until the end of the season due to Thibaut Courtois’ serious injury.

Lunin has been playing for Real Madrid since 2018. This season, the Ukrainian played two matches for Blancos, one of which he kept a clean sheet.

Real is leading in La Liga, ahead of Girona, Ukrainians Artem Dovbik and Viktor Tsygankov, in additional indicators. Blancos next host Rayo Vallecano on November 5th.
