Los Angeles Clippers And Philadelphia 76ers carried out a large-scale exchange, the central figure of which was the defender James Harden.
The 34-year-old player will travel to Los Angeles in company with forwards PJ Tucker and Filip Petrushev.
In return, the 76s will receive:

- unprotected first-round pick in 2028;
- two second round picks;

Known for his luscious beard, Harden is the third-best active NBA player. He started in Oklahoma, spent almost 9 years with Houston, where he was named MVP of the 2018 championship, then played for Brooklyn, and in February 2022 he moved to Philadelphia.
In the 2022-23 season, the 76ers finished third in the Eastern Conference and were eliminated in dramatic fashion by the Boston Celtics in the semifinals. At the end of the regular season, Harden became the first player in NBA history to finish that part of the season as the leader in points per game three times and as the leader in assists twice.
The Clippers finished fifth in the West last season and were eliminated by the Phoenix Suns in the first round of the playoffs.
In total, Harden has played more than 1,000 games in the NBA. He is a ten-time NBA All-Star and a 2012 Olympic champion on Team USA.
At the start of the new season, Philadelphia and the Clippers played three matches each and won two victories.
