An interaction of Cristiano Ronaldo on social media was enough for fans of the Portuguese and Lionel Messi demonstrated without stopping in defense of their idols. The Al Nassr player published laughing emojis in a post that talked about the Ballon d’Or award won by Lionel Messi.

Almost instantly, world football fans were divided between criticizing and supporting Cristiano Ronaldo at the demonstration that took place. While some found it a “low comment” from the player, others agreed with the idea that Messi should not have been the winner of the award in the current season.

The publication that Ronaldo commented on was by a journalist from “AS”, who is a Real Madrid sectorist, Tomás Roncero: “Hi, friends, what we knew has been accomplished. They were going to give Messi the Ballon d’Or again. Cheers, Leo, cheers, champ.”
