The former Dynamo defender told how, during the invasion, the “Russian world” came to his house.

Yuri Dmitrulin described how the occupiers took control of his house near Kyiv at the beginning of a massive raid. The former Dynamo defender, in an interview with Sportarena, said that the invaders had released a lot of things, but he was especially hurt by the collection of T-shirts of the star players. Especially unforgettable is the look of the Brazilian Rivaldo.

“The camera works occasionally: it has time to recharge from the sun-it’s turned on. The recordings showed that three people came out of the gate, carrying sacks. Most likely, they were pirates from the glorious army of Russia, the second in the world.

They were clearly wearing the uniforms of Russian soldiers. Not a blanket was left in the house. The electronics were not touched. The only thing they pulled out of Nikita’s computer was everything inside, only the power supply was left. They took away some medals I received at the state level.

No Rivaldo, Thuram and Voronin T-shirts. There were footprints on the beds, lots of food, rations … They left their chevrons. Embarrassing with stolen t-shirts. I exchanged jerseys with Rivaldo in Barcelona when we won 4-0. The situation happened for him offensively, for me funny. When the score was 3: 0 or 4: 0 in our favor, they attacked, but it didn’t succeed: the blow could have been blocked or pushed. He sat on the field, holding his head.

It approached him, held out his hand, offering help to stand up. He brushed it off. Well, I waved it off and ok, I smiled. However, after the game, he came to change shirts – no problem. A year later, he won the Golden Ball. So it’s doubly frustrating to lose the T-shirt, ”Dmitrulin said.

Recall that Yuri Dmitrulin played for Dynamo from 1992 to 2005. He played 39 matches for the Ukrainian national team.
